Family Reunion June 24, 2023
Saturday, June 24, 2023 in Highland, Utah at Heritage Park.
10400 North Alpine Highway from 2:00 until dusk. Arrive when convenient for your family and stay as long as you’d like!
- Enjoy games, volleyball, softball, and other activities set up, along with water guns, candy cannon and giant bubbles. A children’s play area is located near the pavilion. If you’d like, bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the area outside the pavilion under the many shade trees.
- Dinner from 4:30 to 7:00. We will provide pulled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, buns and fixings. Bottled water, chips and a variety of desserts will also be provided. We are asking each family to bring a pot-luck dish of salads, fruit, or a veggie tray to share that will serve about 20 to complete the meal.
- We will have a table set up so families can bring memorabilia for display. We will also take family and group pictures and they will be posted on the BY/Stella Peterson website at https://bypeterson.org.
- As you arrive, we will provide colored name tags for each person/family of BY and Stella to wear so it will be easy to identify which child you belong to on the family tree. So families of Stella, Pauline, Ora, George, Brigham, Ethyl, Anna, and Lois will all be wearing a different colored name tag.
- If you plan to attend any portion of the reunion, please sign up by June 1, 2023 so we know you are coming and we can plan food. You can sign up by filling out the attached registration form and sending it to LINDI MEHR (address below). We will plan to provide most of the meal on Saturday and are asking for donations to help defray the costs. We are suggesting $5.00 per single, $10.00 for couple or $15.00 per family. If you can, please send donations with the registration. If you are unable to send in the full amount, please send what you can. If you cannot pay, please attend anyway! You can also pay when you arrive. Checks are payable to Carwin Peterson, but mailed to Lindi Mehr.
